I guess I’ve never been a fan of authoritative control, because in a sense it can be intimidating. And if it’s intimidating for me, then I can only imagine what it feels like for a child. I can only suggest to keep making those connections with your students and the classroom management will come naturally. They will respect you as you respect them. Keep moving forward, Maira!
