I too feel that the learning environment is one of the most important aspects student learning. If they are not in a comfortable environment they will not be as motivated to learn, so creating that safe and fun place for learning is where real learning can happen. I also believe that the banking system is not the right way to teach. I have told my students in my placement, that my goal of teaching is not for me to give them the answers. I want them to think and create their own meaning for answers. I also tell them to not be afraid to ask questions. I am too learning from them, and the more questions they ask, the better teacher I can be for them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
