JSK Fellows showcase journalism innovation projects at #NewsFest17

JSK #NewsFest17 was an interactive event with fellows demoing and discussing their journalism innovation work, at Stanford University’s Paul Brest Hall on May, 8, 2017.

Eighteen current JSK Fellows showcased journalism innovation projects they are working on at Stanford, during JSK’s Festival of News Innovation event on May 8.

The street-festival-like atmosphere — complete with fresh street snacks, balloons and music — drew dozens of Bay Area journalists, Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, JSK alumni and Stanford community members, who stopped by booths where fellows demoed their projects and discussed their work one-on-one.

The late-afternoon event at Paul Brest Hall was introduced by JSK Director Dawn Garcia and emceed by journalist Keli Dailey (JSK ’14).
