JSK Fellows showcase journalism innovation projects at #NewsFest17
This year’s fellows connected with the Bay Area journalism community at the 2017 JSK festival of news innovation
--
Eighteen current JSK Fellows showcased journalism innovation projects they are working on at Stanford, during JSK’s Festival of News Innovation event on May 8.
The street-festival-like atmosphere — complete with fresh street snacks, balloons and music — drew dozens of Bay Area journalists, Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, JSK alumni and Stanford community members, who stopped by booths where fellows demoed their projects and discussed their work one-on-one.
The late-afternoon event at Paul Brest Hall was introduced by JSK Director Dawn Garcia and emceed by journalist Keli Dailey (JSK ’14).
