I don’t understand how you can give ATL a good grade for the offseason. They dealt Howard at the expense of taking on Plumlee, an equally bad deal (as you noted) and downgraded from the 31st to the 41st pick. Then they lost a player they developed and traded a 1st round pick two years ago for nothing. I know they chose to let him go but still. Sure, they signaled a direction but how does that constitute a good offseason?
