The articles published here come from a study group within Jersey U3A.

One of the 30 study/activity/interest groups offered by Jersey U3A is this one, Local Studies. We are a diverse collection of individuals: one or two of us have many years of experience in research, some of it professional, but others are rank amateurs and beginners. We come together to assist and encourage each other — and hopefully others who may join — to study an aspect of the history, geography or culture of our beloved island, and to share what we find by means of on-line publication.
