JUNO Dupe Challenge — Benefit Hoola Bronzer VS Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

We are back with another JUNO Dupe Challenge! The products featured in this dupe challenge are the Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($30) VS The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer ($14.95).
Hoola is a cult favorite in the beauty community; it is so many people’s holy grail bronzer. But, why pay $30 if you can find an awesome dupe for half the price?
Janelle tried the Benefit Hoola Bronzer on her left cheek, and the Butter Bronzer on the right cheek, not knowing which was which. When Mira asked her the ultimate question of which she liked better, she pointed to what Janelle thought was the Hoola bronzer, but turned out to be the dupe!
Application wise, Janelle mentioned that the dupe blended out very smooth on the cheeks and was an easier formula to build up naturally. She also said that even though the Hoola was more pigmented, it was more difficult to blend out. Note that Janelle’s skin tone is a light to medium.
Janelle also loved the texture of the dupe; she even used the word “buttery” to describe it, hence the name ‘Butter Bronzer.’ The texture of the Hoola in her opinion was way more powdery. Also, the tropical coconut smell of the dupe won over both Mira and Janelle!
Mira also agreed and loved the way the dupe looked on Janelle’s cheeks! She described it as a “natural tan”, and did admit that they both look extremely similar.
