Spring in Virginia like you would picture it: thunder and rain flooding the parking lot, nurturing the oak trees surrounding the blacktop; our practice court. Pink Starburst wrappers, cans of Arizona Iced Tea decorated your Corolla’s floor. The window condensation masked us. We laid back our seats and listened to guitar riffs; watched our teammates run into the forest under wavering umbrellas.
