The important takeaway from this study is that market rate and BMR housing both reduce displacement pressure //at the regional level//…this is another case in which we need to be clear what we’re optimizing for. If we’re concerned about social mobility, poverty, and even displacement in terms of inclusion in a wider job market…me might want feasibly make decisions that aren’t optimized for preventing displacement at the hyper local level of a neighborhood.
