My Non-Traditional Times as a College Student

A Series By JaMarlin Fowler

So I am a college graduate! The addition of this “piece of paper” to my wall of accomplishments is a goal that I have finally achieved. I arrived at this goal at 33 years old and got to be acknowledged for that work on June 18th, 2017.

June 18th, 2017 is significant because not only was I acknowledged for my Bachelor’s degree, but I also had the opportunity to enjoy that moment with my son on Father’s Day, which happened to coincide with graduation.

Higher Education and the access to that education are very important issues and will be a topic of conversation both on my company’s blog and here on Medium.
