Jaarvis Accelerator’s Demo Day At A Glance

Jaarvis Accelerator’s inaugural Demo Day on 5th February, 2016 provided an opportunity for the startups to come a step closer to their dreams.
Le Meridien was brimming with energy as the investors, industry people and the startups interacted with each other. Upon entering, one was warmly welcomed and then swiftly guided to the event. The JA team worked efficiently and made sure the experience of the ‘Day’ was nothing less than smooth for all the people participating.

The event started with Jaarvis Accelerators’ Vice President Brett Stevens welcoming everyone. The first startup to pitch was Spotwrks which was followed by EduRev, Promon, Donna Dialer, Sniffer, Comparometer, Drinks On Me, Loanzguru, ExtraCarbon and SmartCure. It was a torrent of one brilliant idea after another. From helping you get a job to figuring out where to party at night, from taking the responsibility of your education in your own hands to easing your shopping experience, JA Demo Day had it all covered for you.

The Demo Day saw the presence of the who’s who of Jaarvis Labs — Jaspal Sarai, Brett Stevens, Amit Dang, Arvind Arryan and Ravi Sinha. The eminent panel consisted of Rishab Jain of R Jain Equity, Willy Lan — Strategy Head, JA and Tilak Mishra, Director of Novistra Capital. With a total of ninety five people in attendance, the event saw a string of activities — pitches by startups, enlightening Q&As and lively discussions.

With Comparometer concluding the event with their pitch, Brett Stevens thanked everyone for their presence and encouragement. The place was soon booming with people chatting over coffee and tea. It was that time of the event that was most anticipated — startups and investors intermingling. With their plates full of food and mind full of dreams, Jaarvis Accelerator left no stone unturned to make sure that the startups indeed leave the venue with eyes full of hope.

All in all, the event was a flying success. With all the mentors present to boost the morale of the startups, and the JA team to make the entire event an easy ride, the Demo Day was full of innovative, path breaking ideas and realized dreams.

With startups realizing their dreams and investors finding their match, the day was a soaring success. Thank you all.
