For those of you curious for more than can be featured on my character-limited heading…

I am a Board-Certified Dermatologist practicing in Miami, FL as a voluntary assistant professor at the University of Miami (where I teach residents and see patients). I have a special interest in acne, rosacea, skin cancer prevention and treatment, cosmeceuticals, and cosmetics. I also have a special interest in nutrition and incorporating complimentary alternative medicine when appropriate.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, wine tasting, yoga, and spending time with my daughter Caroline and my husband Brian.

Dr. Dosal was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Pre-professional Studies at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University with magna cum laude honors and acceptance into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her dermatology training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She was also awarded the Jaime Battan award for exemplary compassionate patient care as well as the best resident research project for her study in rosacea patients.

She is the author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications in dermatology.

Dr. Dosal is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She serves as board member of the Florida Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
