Attorney Mark Geragos: Trump Has The Absolute Right to Pardon Joe Arpaio
Mark Geragos spoke to exclusively to Jacob Wohl in an exclusive interview with the Offended America Podcast on Monday. In the interview, Arpaio said that “Trump has the absolute right to power Joe Arpaio”.
Geragos, who has represented clients in high profile cases including Chris Brown, Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson, said that anybody who says there can be anything done to overturn President Trump’s pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio is “basically pulling your chain”.
Speaking about President Trump’s pardon of Joe Arpaio that took place Friday, Geragos said “Constitutionally it’s good to go, there’s nothing they can do about it.”
Geragos, referring to other controversial pardons, including Bill Clinton’s pardon of Glencore Founder Mark Rich, said “The pardon process cannot be appealed”.
