This reminds me of Black Mirror 3x01… there are only the ratings left.

In my opinion being a developer is much more than have commits, pull requests closed and side open source projects. So don’t really think in the future you are gonna get a job just waiting a company check your Github account. It is a useful filter and starting point, but there are many dev skills that you cannot find in Github (social skills mainly).
