TV Shows are my worst nightmare, yet I keep watching.

I say tv shows are my worst nightmare, I only say that because I can get lost for hours watching one. I’ve been known to (on a non-work night) stay up all night on a Netflix/Hulu binge. And on a work night I stay up way past my bedtime. The really good tv shows I finish in a night. It’s depressing when they’re over, like the end of a good book. I have seen every episode of shows like…

  • The Walking Dead
  • Lost
  • Breaking Bad
  • House of Cards
  • Entourage
  • Stranger Things
  • True Detective
  • Homeland
  • Sons of Anarchy
  • Brothers and Sisters
  • Falling Skies
  • Friends
  • The Last Ship
  • Fringe
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Making a Murderer

And that’s just the ones I could think off, Don’t get me wrong I love movies too. I love a good story, movies just sometimes have a shortness to them that a show doesn’t. There’s no certain genre that’s best, i just want a good story that is well directed. It starts with the creator of the show. For instance Vince Gilligan was an executive Producer on X-Files and Breaking Bad, can’t go wrong right? Another Creator that doesn’t seem to miss on anything is J.J. Abrams, he was the executive producer on hit shows Alias, Lost, Fringe, Revolution, Person of Interest, 11/22/63 and the new show Westworld. Matter of fact he might be my favorite director or producer out there. So look for a well respected producer and you can’t miss. If you’ve never sat down and watched a tv show from start to finish, you should try it the next time a big snow storm moves through. Or a rainy weekend, hell if you’re just bored. Pick one of the shows I mentioned and start on episode one.
