Blow apart your mental models

What is your perception of reality? How was it shaped? Have you ever questioned your biases? Have you ever questioned your beliefs? I was fortunate enough to study Sociology during my undergrad, it opened my mind. It wasn’t easy to challenge the beliefs I had developed or admit that my perception of our global community was narrow and uniformed. However, by letting go of my ego, embracing humility, and unlearning what I thought I knew, I was able embrace a world full of knowledge. With an acquired growth mindset, and a curiosity for knowledge, travel has shaped who I have become. It has broadened my understanding of community. I now recognize the interconnections that exists between everyone and everything.
