Bear in mind that Baccarat, like all other gambling games cannot be magically calculated into an equation which will later help you trick the house and win each wager. As an EOSBet fanboy, the moment I saw the news about the Baccarat release I knew that it’s time to share the gambling wisdom I acquire through thick and thin. Playing Baccarat for more than 10 years now has made me both the happiest man ever and broke me down to pieces. My advice for you is to tread carefully and know your game before you indulge in it.

Baccarat is a game of simple rules which EOSBet perfectly illustrated in one of their infographics.

1. You can place bets on either banker’s hand or Player’s hand. A player may also bet on either hand. In addition, there are a tie bet and a player pair and banker pair.

2. Two cards are dealt to both Player’s and Banker’s hand initially and whoever hits 9 or ends up closer to 9 is a winner.

3. Ten and all face cards are worth 0 points, and if the total is more than 10, the second digit represents the value of the hand. For instance, an 8 and a 5 make 13, ultimately resulting in a three-point hand.

4. If the total value of the Player’s hand is 8 or 9 — he will get no addition cards; the player stands on 6 or 7; and draws on 0–5, unless the banker has 8 or 9 which is a default win.

5. Banker, on the other hand, draws a third card in the following situations:

This article will not provide you with the ensured Baccarat winning strategy, nor will be its Holy Grail, but it will increase your chance of winning it by knowing how to place bets and what to be aware of.

Strategy 1 — Betting on the banker

The very first mistake that all newcomers seem to be doing is placing a Tie bet because the payout — which is a big no-no for Baccarat as the chances of winning are very slim. The banker bet, however, usually pays out less in % than that of the Player because the good Baccarat player knows that the Banker bet has a better shot at winning a hand. EOSBet, in this specific case, has a house edge of 1.1% for both Player and Banker bets which is the all-time low if you ask me.

The fact is that the Banker bet is the only way to reduce the risk of losing a hand. It is definitely far more exciting to try something more daring and exciting, but we are here to talk more rationally and get your strategy in place.

Strategy 2 — Riding the pony

You must have seen players who wager either on the Bank or the Player, double for seven or eight and even pull off a certain amount as the hands move along. On the other hand, you might have seen players who wager $1,000 on the Bank and win. They keep betting until the Bank losses. In other words, they “ride the pony”.

If you are a high roller and you are willing to apply this strategy, you should not forget that the Player and the Bank have equal chances of winning or losing, so you have to be cautious when you bet against a long run.

Strategy 3 — Zigzagging

This is my all-time favorite Baccarat strategy which still hasn’t put me down. Players need to know that it incorporates a huge risk as some casinos have low limits in terms of maximum wager amount. You basically start off by placing a bet on either a banker or a player after a run of eight in a row. If you lose, you need to double the wagered amount, add one unit and bet against the run again. For this strategy to work, you need to have the funds for at least 8 consecutive losses, but if the eight hits — you are in for the money. This is why I like EOSBet — their maximum win is always set at 4% of the game’s bankroll. So in the time of writing, game bankroll was about 43k EOS meaning that my maximum win would be around $6,3k and this is crucial.

Let’s say that you start your first wager with 6 EOS that means that you will be at 1,5k EOS by your 8th bet which is just shy of 1,7k EOS the maximum amount. It can happen that you will hit the jackpot on the 3rd, 4th or 5th try, but in any case you will get more than you invested initially. However, if the streak continues further than 8 you are done for. This is where the risk lies.

I noticed that Baccarat was being gravely underrated on the EOSBet platform as most of the players wagered Dice bets, and either remain ignorant of Baccarat’s fun/profit or do not know how to strategically place their bets. I suggest you giving it a shot and you will see that is very addictive and entertaining game. What is even more, it is said that the game itself comes from 15th century France exclusively available to the aristocracy until it became mainstream and implemented into land-based casinos and online as well.
