For more than three decades, James “Jim” Javaras has guided BHR Life Companies and provided a host of coordinated solutions that meet the needs of Massachusetts families, individuals, and business owners. Committed to his community, James Javaras has long been involved with the Worcester Art Museum as a corporate sponsor and trustee emeritus.

Established in the late 19th century, the Worcester Art Museum is a distinct local asset that houses 38,000 objects spanning more than 5,000 years. Among the exhibitions of late 2019 is “Photo Revolution: Andy Warhol to Cindy Sherman,” which brings together 225 works designed to show the link between photography and art movements that spanned the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

The museum also hosts a range of cultural events that included a recent retelling by a local storyteller and teacher of classic tales such as “Beowulf,” “Odysseus,” and “Gilgamesh.” This no-cost event was part of the “Free First Sunday” offerings in which no admission is required to access the museum.
