I loved the concept of open Badges as a decentralised credentialing system and it looks so very compatible with block chain technology. Very exciting! Also read on the Open Badges Google Group page that storing the badge data on a blockchain takes away some of the issues that were concerning me about self-hosting a Badge backpack? (mainly to do with maintaining the data over time)
