Not far from the city, but a different world!

I like this certain kind of shampoo. It makes my hair feel fatter somehow! Probably not healthy, but looks good! Feels good, too! The best places to find it are barber shops; there is a country crossroads barber shop on the way to the tax service ofice. Was passing by there today and stopped in. They were talking about the candidates, the campaign, the country. I was not eavesdropping. They were talking right in front of my face, and having a grand old time! I could tell that the opinions expressed were not being voiced for the first time!

Driving home — thought about it all. What they said, what I thought, what I felt.

For a while this election season, all the talk — from the top and from the folks — was entertaining, even amusing. Now it’s not funny. How is my life gonna change if . . . . ? I’m looking at my passport! Canada is so cold; Mexico is so corrupt — and kinda dangerous!
