I wanted to start a gratitude bowl, but I have used a pitcher instead.

Thanks to a friend who suggested it, I have started a gratitude pitcher. Her suggestion was for a gratitude bowl. I didn’t have a bowl, so I identify something every day, something to be grateful for. I write down a brief description of the thing, event, person, experience; fold the lined post-it-type note (sticky side in); and place the note in a beautiful red glass pitcher. The pitcher sits on a little tiny first-grade chair, rescued from some long-shuttered elementary school. The chair sits in a sunny window where I see it, and the pitcher, every day.

I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a very full gratitude pitcher.
