MORE WISDOM FROM BANNED BOOKS

Lewis Carroll wrote one of the books on the list of banned children’s stories. Roald Dahl had two books listed!

Yep, you guessed it! Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll is on the list of children’s books that were banned at one time.

And here is a bit of wisdom from The White Queen, appearing in that scandalous text:

Alice laughed: “There’s no use trying,” she said; “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” Alice in Wonderland.
