PAINTING PRETTY

Late afternoon sky: blue with pink clouds and a half-moon spot-light!

I was really lucky today. I had long telephone conversations with friends, and caught up on a lot of news and happenings. That’s a good thing.

One friend/former neighbor had texted me with her new phone number — her daughter has given her an iPhone! She also shares the service with her daughter’s family. Win-Win! She was totally tickled with all she was learning about all the tricks the new device could do! I felt really happy for her. We visited briefly about all our good times together — back in the day!

All that to say that I was a bit late getting outside for some fresh air and exercise! And — oh my — the sky was like a painting. Blue sky and pink clouds, with a perfect half-moon shining down like a spot-light! It looked extra luminous and appeared to be very close to us. Almost like a street light — except maybe a little farther away!

There’s a lesson in this! Maybe I’m missing a lot by following too rigid of a schedule. Maybe I should mix it up a bit and see what else I gain!
