Time to express what’s on your mind and in your heart!

Shel Silverstein’s tragic thought-starter:

She had blue skin,
And so did he.
He kept it hid
And so did she.
They searched for blue
Their whole life through.
Then passed right by–
And never knew.

This is beautiful, also sad. What if they had known, and shared, and cared, and lived, and loved?!? What if . . . almost as sad as if only . . . .

If there is a lesson to be learned here — a truth that can often be found in great art — it is to express yourself. Say what you like, what you believe, what you want. It might strike a chord with a like-minded acquaintance. You might start a trend, you might start a movement. Or you might find-a-friend! Just do it — say what’s on your mind and in your heart!
