WHOEVER SAID THIS? WHO EVEN SAID THIS?

We’re all a little weird and that’s okay! Who said it? Who cares?

Dr. Seuss or Robert Fulghum? Slightly different words, same general idea! I like both these versions, and there seems to be some dispute over who said what, when! I don’t care. They seem to mean vastly different things. And that’s okay — both are too true!

“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find
someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
Dr. Seuss

“We’re all a little weird. And life is weird. And when we find someone
whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall
into mutually satisfying weirdness — and call it love — true love.”
― Robert Fulghum
