Harbouring Habits

Putting things off until tomorrow, the weekend, or Monday is no way to live. It is the breeding ground for procrastination. Tomorrow will always be tomorrow, but today will become yesterday. If that is not enough to put things into perspective, consider this:

To break a habit, it takes about 3 days for every month you consistently performed that habit.

If you smoked for 20 years, it would take about 2 years for you to grab a handle on your smoking habit, but do not focus on the numbers. It is a play on math, Start with today. Today is Day One.

Either by change in frequency or a complete reboot, the choice is yours, but be mindful of urges and setbacks. Remember that today is Day 1.
