The reoccurring theme to a lot of these stories is being YOUNG and NEW in a job and in the working world. Interns protesting pretty much anything is not going to go well. You have to be somewhere for a while and earn some respect before opening your mouth.

I don’t think this is a “these kids today” thing. I think it’s kids in every generation who have no concept that they have to pay their dues. Maturity and experience are things we’ve all had to learn. It’s just that some of us are better at catching on to how things work than others. The intern that sat in front of me earlier this ear who fell asleep daily and watched Minecraft videos on YouTube when he was awake, for instance… He’s no longer with the company…
