ASCD Rolls Out New GoalWorks Platform

For the past nine years, Janet Valeri has held the role of principal at the Ledge Street School in Nashua, New Hampshire. To better serve the school’s students and teachers, Janet Valeri belongs to several education-related professional organizations, including the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development recently entered into a partnership with Lee Ann Jung and Rich Ord to roll out a new online portal called the ASCD Student Growth Center. The platform will serve as the home of GoalWorks, which will function as a collaborative goal-setting framework in which parents and other stakeholders can work with students to help them achieve their fullest potential.

The partnership was announced at ACSD Empower17, where they revealed that renowned education researcher Lee Ann Jung would be the new organization’s chief academic officer. A pioneer in online marketing and eCommerce, Ord will come on board as the chief operating officer. To learn more about the program, visit ascdstudentgrowthcenter.org.
