Connected Prototypes

I’m currently working on my first prototype using firebase. In my project i’m using a smartphone and a TV, as kind of a Second-Screen prototype.

One thing i’ve tried at first is pushing a value onDrag to firebase. But it really gets laggy. Anyone have a nice workaround besides firing after an interaction ends?
