Microsoft DigitalStride offers partners a packaged set of digital marketing services, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which can help potential customers find their website at a lower cost per acquisition. The services also include the improvement of a partner’s Microsoft Pinpoint profile helping to generate new cloud opportunities and more business transactions.

Working closely with Semdrive, digital marketing agency with locations in Costa Rica, Seattle, San Mateo, Miami and Brazil branch in Sao Paul; a pipeline full of digital products was consistently cleaned.

Challenge

Over +50 projects, each with their own scope, more than one demanding big domains developments; an excuse to confront them with respect. Language barrier was an issue which Google Translate helped us overcome. Clients from Malaysia, Brazil, United States, Jamaica, Czech Republic, Holland, Canada, Argentina, and Mexico, demanded high quality web development in order to raise their online presence.

Solution

A refined 5 step process helped us kickoff the project with each respective stakeholder all way down to the launch and grow phases.

1- Kickoff: Define business goals, define user goals (at least a hypothesis to be tested). Help the stakeholders define the sitemap. Gather content (images and text); we use this tool. Proceed with a content strategy, for example making catchy headers appealing to target users.

2- Design: High fidelity prototypes built on Invision. We recommend a maximum of 3 feedback rounds. Still collect ALL feedback, leave it on an Invision comment for later. Its important to consider everyones ideas!

3- Code Development: Exporting a .zip file with all the design elements; which include: text, colors, font, header, footer, home, references, and internal pages.

4- Quality Assurance: Test the product in every platform and browser. Detect bugs and fix them before launch. Remember that its always better to launch asap, than have it perfect.

5- Metrics: Using tools like Hotjar or Usertesting track user’s behaviour. This behaviour analyse it and transform it into design conclusions. Continue with this phase until the business goals are surpassed.
