The Wait Is Almost Over

My anticipation for Tory Lanez next album is only growing.

After Tory Lanez released two mixtapes, The New Toronto 2 and Chixtape 4, at the beginning of 2017, it was inevitable that an album was about to release as hip-hop artists usually release mixtape before they release their studio album. When Tory started to tweet about his second album I have to admit that I got hyped.

I feel that Lanez debut studio album I Told You had left a lot to be desired. Even though most people didn’t enjoy all of the skits, (14 skits in total…), I enjoyed them because I’m a fan of skits and interludes, but I felt that there were too many tracks and not enough great ones and with rappers current trend of putting 15+ songs on their albums, it seems like this wont change. Then Tory made a great comeback with Chixtape 4.

Chixtape 4 might be one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard in my life.

The Chixtape series is mixtapes full of songs of Lanez rapping over samples of classic R&B songs. All of these songs are great and much, MUCH better than I Told You. I would STRONGLY advise you to listen to this project.

With how good Chixtape 4 was, it could only mean that Tory Lanez’ next album will be one of the best albums of the year, time is ticking.
