Doing Math

I was told by a store clerk the other day that doing math helps to prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. To test her theory, I decided to calculate how much every man, woman and child in America would have received had presidents Bush and Obama bailed us out instead of Wall Street. Ten thousand dollars is the figure I came up with, which isn’t much in this day and age, but enough to pay for a fair amount of dental work, which, for us senior citizens, isn’t covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
