~ Cursive Writing ~

I think the extinction of the Arts in schools is inevitable. Back in the Dark Ages when I was in high school, music and theatre were part of the high school experience. Though, even then, they were overshadowed by sports. Now, the Arts seem like ancient history.

This generation has little time to learn anything outside of a formal classroom setting where they’re largely a captive audience.

Make the creative experience an integral part of the educational process. Don’t abandon it then wonder why interest in the Arts is vanishing.

I’ve been a musician most of my life, but never was involved in music other than in elementary school.

Don’t rob children of one of the greatest gifts on earth: the power to create beauty.
