Watching 90210
No One Has Parents Apparently
Because all of the good shows on television don’t come back on until spring I decided to binge watch some Netflix. I let my trash friends use my Netflix account so 90210 popped up in “My List”. I thought it would be trash but I’m watching it right now. I have so many opinions on this show (SO MANY) and because this is my blog I’m gonna express them to you now. So let’s get started…
All this show did was remind me how much of a life I don’t have. They’re high school sophomores and they’re all out partying and getting hooked on narcotics and stuff meanwhile tonight (like most nights) I sat in a dark room trying to fix my candle warmer and avoiding responsibilities. Also how are they all still friends? THEY ALL DATED EACH OTHER AT SOME POINT… it’s like a big dating circle of betrayal. If this was the least bit realistic none of them would have friends because they would just seduce them all. Also is statutory rape not a thing in the 90210?
And don’t get me started on the drug thing. It’s so weird. I’m only halfway finished but so far they’ve found coke in people’s lockers at least 3 times yet for some reason no one thinks “hey, maybe these kids have a huge drug problem we should probably like, I don’t know do something about it.” I’ve also learned that rich people are the worst.
I wish I could have the parents in 90210 (okay well some of the parents, a few of them we’re actually terrible). Because most of them don’t give two craps about anything. No one ever has to ask their parents to go anywhere. Its like “Hey gang lets go cross state and spend the night in hotel rooms with no parental supervision, maybe have some unprotected sex and stuff” and they’re all like “Okie dokie.”
I have so many issues with this but I still really love this show. I don’t know if it’s because seeing 16 year old kids commit murders excites me ( if any of you where wondering, it dose not.) Or if it’s because of Dixon. It’s probably because of Dixon honestly
Any who….this show makes no sense but I’m still gonna watch it because all this drama is giving something to stress over during the day and every since i’ve started watching I’ve been online shopping a lot less
