What a treat Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was to read! It proved to be my favorite book yet in the series. I would make some well crafted sentences here to elaborate, but it’s late and I just want to make a list instead:

  • Shorter time spent at the Dursleys’ (Those parts have gotten sooo repetative)
  • The wider wizarding world is even further explored: Port keys! Wizards from other countries! Voldermort backstory! Death Eaters!
  • The trials are thrilling and the clues leading up to the next one built anticipation.
  • Professor Moody. Great character.
  • Illegal spells?!?
  • Voltermort is back

Despite having gained a good sense of what to expect over the course of the books by now, still packed a lot of surprises. You can tell by all the tweets that are like “Oh whaaaat?”, “No way!”, and so forth. No more jibber-jabber; here are the tweets.

How Siri interpreted my Tweet when I spoke it aloud.
No peeking!
I need to start making more best friends, just in case!
Seriously though, somebody get J.K. Rowling to see this.
Also, something tells me that it may be awhile before the next Triwizard Tournament.

Be sure to follow #JimReadsHarryPotter as I continue my way through the rest of the books!

I ate that snitch just like Harry ate the snitch in Sorcer’s Stone.
