This Is What Happened When People Wanted My Art
Jessica Peterson

Beautifully done. Love your artwork. And as a writer, it may not be the same, but I do feel a level of exposure and discomfort letting go of my work to be read. It feels as if I’m setting myself up for judgment — which of course is exactly what I am doing. And it always makes me smile when someone assumes that I’m the “man” in the story — and not the child or the woman or the teen boy. I’m even the dog! It’s all me. Who else could it be?
