Stewart I’ve seen this behavior as well in NYC. The reality is all the drivers I Uber with have Juno and Lyft open at the same time. You can’t blame an independent owner/operator for trying to make the most they can, you can blame Uber for not creating a compelling enough business case for the drivers to be loyal. You can blame Uber for super saturating cities with drivers such that the drivers can’t make enough money. And I agree with you, their app platform should notify a market supervisor when the drivers behavior makes no sense for rise fulfillment. And by the way complain to Uber about Charles. They will cancel your $10 fee and chastise him for what happened
