John Barrow, you may not see the kind of policing problem we in the USA have, but have you looked at Europe’s response to refugees? Or to how colonialism has affected beauty standards the world over, to the point of causing people to whiten themselves (or be forcibly whitened) to be considered beautiful (and sometimes poison themselves in the process)? These are but two of many racial issues that face Europe and other areas of the world.

This isn’t an inflammatory or racist article. It is predicated on issues that are more prominent in the USA than in your countries, but it does not negate the racist tensions and issues that are evident in Europe and elsewhere in the world.
