Weekly W(h)ine : Not Nerd Enough

I’m a Whoovian, who hasn’t watched every Tom Baker episode. I’m a LOTR fan ho hasn’t read the Silmarillion. I’m a rock music fan who tonight, to the horror of my husband, misidentified an Iggy and the Stooges song. Like, REALLY misidentified. You know what, we’ll just say I might as well have said it was a song by Mr. Rogers for how off I was. I love games, but don’t have time for World of Warcraft or Fallout. I fact, I hardly even play Skyrim anymore. Yeah, SKYRIM. Just about the only nerdy things I am really good at are cartoons and guessing the actors who voice them. But there is no fan club for that kind of nerdy. No Hall H at Comic Con, not even Ballroom 20. Now in the regular, straight laced world all of the things I mentioned are met with glazed eyes. They dont even care that I get to go to SDCC every year. So how do I fit in here? What’s a girl got to do to get some nerd cred…?
