Trump’s Policies
Like an Air Force General one said “If your taking flack, you must be over the target.”
Here is what Trump supports, seeing as people seem to ignore his policies:
- Keep social security.
- Keep the retirement age.
- Middle East refugee zones. Comment: they are far more effective and safer than taking refugees in.
- Close loopholes and lower taxes. Comment: you cannot realistically close loopholes without lowering taxes.
- The legalization of medical marijuana.
- Against the TPP. Comment: TPP is a 500,000 long-page document. Trump has said he would rather make individual trade and treaty agreements.
- Against NAFTA. Comment: as said, Trump is against this huge documents and it has been has proven to hurt us more than it has helped us. Again, Trump would rather individual trade agreements.
- Stop illegal immigration. Comment: no, he does not just want to build a wall. He wants to triple the number of ICE officers. Allow for nationwide e-verify. Defund sanctuary cities. Enhanced penalties for overstaying visas. Cooperate with local gang enforcement. Increase wages of HB-1 visa workers. The J-1 visa jobs program for foreign youth will be terminated and replaced with a resume bank for inner city youth provided to all corporate subscribers to the J-1 visa program, and thus expanding job programs to inner city youth.
- Supports gun rights and mental healthcare. Comment: Bernie Sanders also supports increasing mental healthcare to fight against gun violence.
- Stop death tax.
- Keep preexisting conditions coverage.
- End China’s illegal export subsidies and lax labor and environmental standards.
- Allow insurance companies to compete against others by modifying existing law that inhibits the sale of health insurance across state lines.
- Allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system.
- Allow individuals to use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Contributions into HSAs should be tax-free and should be allowed to accumulate.
- Remove barriers to entry into free markets for drug providers that offer safe, reliable and cheaper products.
- Make peace with Russia.
- Help make peace between Israel and Palestine.
- Punishing DOCTORS performing illegal abortions. Comment: I am pro-abortion, let’s make that clear. If a doctor performs illegal abortions then he or she needs to get punished. Trump does not want to punish women for having illegal abortions. He even says says women are victims in this case. I completely support his comment even though I am pro-abortion. People need to get punished for performing illegal acts. This is the newest “out-of-context scandal” the media is playing now.
Some of this information is directly off of his website. This is not an entire list of what he supports and does not support but it is a list of his policies nonetheless.
I urge everyone to vote on policies, not the nonsense shown on television. The nonsense on television does not represent America and does not represent our policies and our future as Americans. If you do not want change then vote for Hillary. If you want change vote for Trump. Policies are very important, more important than nonsense. To beat the nonsense, the media hype, the Propaganda is to vote solely based on policies. You do not need to love every policy a candidate has but you need to get out, look at policies, and vote based on policies because policies are what have and will move America, not a “presidential face”. To clarify, face is being used as a synonym to persona.
Someone told me that Trump’s economic policies make no sense. So here is my response:
You said that his economic policies make no sense. However, our current policies make zero sense. Why should we continue on this path when we clearly know it is not working?
Let’s go with two different economic policies: Trump’s and Sander’s.
They both want to close loopholes. We have the highest corporate tax in the free trading world, third globally without taken loopholes into consideration. Bernie wants to increase taxes after loopholes are closed. Trump wants to lower taxes after loopholes are closed. Even now with our loopholes countries are still going over to China and sitting in safe havens. It makes zero sense to keep our tax rate or even increase it.
Let’s face it, we are spending way too much money. Trump wants to cut spending to a realistic figure and waste, fraud, and abuse. You know what effect this will cause? Our dollar value will become stronger and we can earn more money over time.
You what is unrealistic? The 15 dollar minimal wage Bernie is proposing. We should keep the minimal wage and strengthen our dollar instead of creating inflation. After reforming taxes, trade, and so forth we can raise the minimal wage if needed. But to do so during reformation is insanity. If you do it during reformation then you are counteracting your own changes. Think about this in the long run. If we strengthen our dollar we will be leaving our kids with something tangible.
Think of countries like stores. The United States is selling their clothes at a very high cost. Let’s say 500 dollars per shirt. Meanwhile China is selling their shirt for 10 dollars. Which store would you walk into first? You would probably walk into China. Ask yourself why the United States is selling their shirts for $500 and China is selling for $10. The US believes in minimal wage to stop slave labor and insists to enact standards and regulations. China, on the other hand, has very little standards, regulations, and doesn’t really require businesses to pay a minimal wage. On top of that, China requires consumers to pay a 5 dollars in addition as a tax while the US requires consumers to pay $100 dollars in addition as a tax. No wonder why everyone wants to go to China! The only way to stop China from doing the things they are doing is by using international laws to our advantage and renegotiate our trading agreements and lowering taxes.
The United States is also like your debt-ridden aunt who never took a basic finance class. Let’s say the US goes on shopping sprees every weekend and buys at least $1,000 dollars each time. She gets paid 700 dollars a month. After 100 weekends she has spent 100,000 dollars and has earned 17,500 dollars. Surprise! She is in debt! 82,500 dollars in debt. So how do you propose about paying off this debt? Well, the first step is to stop spending 1,000 dollars every weekend, which is more or less what Trump is saying. We need to stop spending money. Cut the things you do need: waste, fraud, abuse — 5 pounds of makeup, dozens of shoes, and drugs.
Once we become a viable option for businesses we will get more jobs and higher wages. “No taxes without representation!” Well, other countries are representing our businesses and yet, you are surprised that businesses do not want to be here? They are being forced out because we refuse to represent them. The only way to get representation is by moving to China and through corruption at this point. Those are their only options. Trump, as a businessman, wants to make things in America but no one is representing him. So, he is running to represent him and the dozens of others like him who cannot realistically make things in this country.
In short, do not say his economic policies do not make sense. They make plenty of sense!
