The question is, if she is a Skywalker, why leave her alone on another desert planet. Why would they need to keep her a ‘secret’. Did Luke bump nasties with someone he wasn’t suppose too? Would Leia just completely ignore her niece? Just because Luke dipped his wick in someone she didn’t approve off.

Someone mentioned R2's awakening. If Luke could feel the torture of his friends in 5, couldn’t he have felt the death of his old friend, even from across the galaxy? Whose to say that Rey was the reason, when it makes more sense that Luke woke R2, to provide the map. That it was he that felt the need to come ‘home’ after his friend’s death, and at the hands of his patawan. As for whether Rey is a Kenobi, I’m beginning to think more that way, than my initial feeling that she was a Skywalker.
