Good Eats in Hawaii Part IV

May 25, 2017

Another newly renovated place we wanted to visit was the new Shirokiya. It was a Japanese store with a lot of trinkets and items you could buyinside the store. The store is inside the Ala Moana Mall. The main attraction though was the food upstairs. Food stalls would sell bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, skewers, noodles, tonkatsu. That’s just a third of what was sold.

Shirokiya moved to a newly renovated part of the mall where they now just focus on food. Some familar items include the bento boxes. There’s more places that serve ramen and udon. There’s also a place that serves takoyaki.

This beno was kind of over kill on the deep fried items. There was pork, a croquette and some other pork items.

Takoyaki seafood balls was hella good! Definitely eat them right away hot!

The $1 primo beer was actually good. I enjoyed it.

Dinner we ended up back at Shirokiya. I tried a pork (cha siu) ramen. Forgot which stall it came from though, but it was good.
