Why Scaramucci is perfect for Trump’s White House Communications Director

It was the 21st day of the month, one day before my birthdate, a Friday in the middle of July. Everything seemed perfect but then, things just got better. I was on my social media and I noticed on the news: Scaramucci is officially appointed the new Communications Director of The White House. Immediately I go to Youtube in search of some video footage of this new member of the W.H. wondering who this might be, or where he came from.

I find the first press brefing video after Spicer resigns. The very first words spoken by the new Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci are: “Sarah Sanders is gonna be the new Press Secretary. Congratulations to you Sarah.” After the brief applause ends, he continues to thank and congratulate Sean Spicer, former Communications Director, personally, applauding his job well done in the White House, his military service, Spicer’s patriotism and also showing respect for the fact that Sean Spicer is a father. But not before he hopes Sean continues to “make a tremendous amount of money.”

Isn’t it amazing how the new Communications Director of the The White House is able to show the part of the White House that apparently half of the country isn’t able to see? And not tho mention he does this in literally seconds. The first thing Scaramucci does is he promotes Sarah Sanders to a high level office position: Press Secretary. This is the women friendly White House everybody who called Trump a mysoginist is unable to see, or flat out chooses to ignore. It completely blows the Trump is a mysogynist narrative doesn’t it? Promoting Sarah Sanders to Press Secretary isn’t news to CNN or MSNBC because it doesn’t fit their anti-reality narrative. They claim to be pro-women but they never celebrate women’s achievements. Sarah Sanders is the first female Press Secretary since 2007 but you probably haven’t heard this in big name news, or how the current POTUS likes to call them, #FakeNews or #FraudNews.

Scaramucci continues by addressing some specualtion that was going on in the press between him and White House Chief of Staff Reince Prebius. He says that he has known Reince personally and that they have been “personal friends” for 6 years. He tells the reporters and the cameras in the press room that they are a “little bit like brothers” and that they “rough eachother up once in a while.” Through Reince, Scaramucci says he was introduced to the political sytem and to the Republican National Committee Network. He also stated: “We are commited as true professionals to the team and the process of getting the administration’s message out.”

The new Communications Director then takes some questions from a couple of reporters naturally he goes for the first row. The first question asked by an attractive female reporter from CNN was framed like this: “What we have seen in this administration so far is the President being his own messenger, very frequently, and that has caused as you know some struggles for the communications staff, How do you expect to get this White House back on track?”

Notice anything in the framing of the question? Lets look at the similar question asked by the next reporter from Reuters:

“Anthony you’ve been watching the WH from somewhat outside and I’m sure you have your own perspective on what you’ve seen, what is the first thing that your going to change to try to right this ship in the right direction?”

Obviously, the way both of these questions were framed already assume that the White House is going or has been going in a bad direction. Who thinks that? The American people? CNN producers that called their ever declining viewership “F***ing I***ts”? These tricky questions the reporters asked are so common that there is a name for them. They are called “Begging the Question”, its a logical fallacy, Google it. Scaramucci has a brilliant response to both of these: “I take issue with that question because I belive the Ship is going in the right direction.”

Its as simple as that. Anthony Scaramucci is perfect for Communications Director because in that little press brefing room he directed communications. He did not let reporters shove a certain narrative up his mouth and be tricked into playing defense. Scaramucci went straight to being offensive in his style of answering these type of tricky questions and frankly this is the type of mindset that is wanted and needed in the new Trump White House.
