When I’m sad I frequently write. It’s something I’ve done for almost ten years. It’s always been a great way to explore my own feelings and thoughts without fear of judgement. Lately I also find myself spending time outside and just existing in the moment, absorbing all the energy from the sun and let myself feel gratitude for air in my lungs. I remind myself how good it feels to breathe. Your take on sadness and embracing it is much like mine… face it head on, accept it as part of the balance and then move on when ready. Nice writing.
