The rally was initially planned to take place in Crissy Field but the event’s organizers planned for a press conference at Alamo Square Park instead. This is what followed:
Police presence was heavy.
With the exception of this arrest, everything remained pretty calm and orderly.
Barricades that initially splintered the counter-protestors were removed and there was a mass-gathering at the corner of Steiner and Hayes.
The counter-protestors, led by members of the Frisco Resistance group declared the day as a victory against the members of the Patriot Prayer group.
There was hardly any presence from the Patriot Prayer group, minus this oathkeeper and a group believed to be aligned with alt-right.
The sir in the blue is known to document similar-type rallies and was accused by counter-protestors of being a provocateur. He said he just wanted to see what was going to happen.
He was later escorted out to safety by the sir on the right.
SFPD presence was visible throughout the entire march. Officers walked alongside protestors from Alamo Square to 24th and Mission.

Just before the counter-protest march came to end, a Donald Trump piñata was set on fire.
A brief appearance was made by members of the Patriot Prayer group, but not long enough for this reporter to make it to Crissy Field in time. Karl, however, was there.
