History doesn’t predict the future, & if we were to debate using “what ifs” as basis for arguments, we wouldn’t leave here (What if Clinton wins? What if leave-EU politicians in France and Italy don’t get into the corridors of power?).

While I agree that major events tend to happen as a result of seemingly disconnected independent scenarios, I should also point out to you that humans are rationale actors, & there are also strong institutions who can check tyrants. Thanks.
