Expanding Rhode Island’s Heritage

With inductee Joseph Paolino, Jr. at the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame reception

They may not have much in common, but they have all made significant contributions to Rhode Island.

For 52 years, the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame has honored individuals who have contributed to the history and legacy of our state. Inductees have enjoyed successful careers in business, philanthropy, manufacturing, public service, healthcare and the humanities. This year was no different, with ten community leaders joining the ranks of more than 750 Hall of Famers.

I was honored to attend this year’s ceremony and give my sincere congratulations to the honorees: Richard L. Bready, Alfred L. Carpionato, Bartlett S. Dunbar, Robert Galkin, Wini Galkin, Warren Galkin, Dr. Arun K. Singh, William Michael Vareika, Judge Arthur N. Votolato, and Ambassador Joseph Paolino, Jr.

Because of their commitment, ingenuity and success, Rhode Island’s future heritage is looking brighter than ever. Thank you for all you’ve done!
