Town Hall Tuesday

Meeting with my fellow Rhode Islanders is always a highlight of my time back home, so I was thrilled that more than 200 people attended my August town hall meetings in Narragansett and Warwick. Town hall meetings are an opportunity for me to hear directly from constituents, and I received a lot of great questions and feedback to bring with me to Washington.

At the Narragansett town hall, we discussed topics including healthcare, gun control and improving accessibility for people with disabilities. In Warwick, we hit on issues encompassing taxes, education, infrastructure, and many others topics of interest. While we may not agree on every issue, I appreciate having these conversations to better understand the opinions and concerns of Ocean State residents.

For Second District residents who were unable to attend these town hall meetings, I encourage you to call my office, send an email, or join me at one of my future town hall meetings or Lunch with Langevin events. My office can also help with a variety of issues, from assisting constituents interacting with federal agencies to helping veterans retrieve service medals to answering questions about Medicare and Social Security benefits. No matter the forum, I am here to help and listen to the issues that matter most to you. I want to thank all who attended my most recent town halls, and I hope to see you at another event soon.
