I was 51% in the Remain camp. The EU was arrogant, unchanging and inflexible to one of the very few countries that is a net contributor whilst the rest were net recipients.

Staying in would have made them more arrogant. Leaving makes them more humble — more willing to change. More willing to face up that not all is well within the EU from its constituent states.

Furthermore this wasn’t a Scotland referendum. It was a UK referendum. And for those in the Remain camp — they all failed. Sturgeon failed. Labour failed. Cameron failed. Glasgow failed by its derisory vote out with only 57%. Over a million Scots voted Leave.

Scotland voted to remain part of the UK by a large margin. Nationalist may want to drive Scotland into poverty with its Separatist dream but the people of Scotland won’t be fooled. And those of us with disposable income won’t hang around to assist those that who believe in flag waving nationalism rather than economic pragmatism.
