Youtube Declares Media War on It’s Users and Content Creators for Political Ends.
Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have declared a media war on it’s users to prevent another non-establishment candidate from winning again. Even if it means destroying their own user-base. They use terms such as extremism, hate, harassment, and terrorism as cover to experiment with programs designed to platform, demonetize, and drive out content creators that are outside the Neoliberal Identity Politics ideology of the websites owners in place of ones that would be complacent with mainstream media and their interests.
With the Charleston incident, they are accelerating their campaign to accomplish the same goal. One of the major players YouTube have already demonetizing, baring anyone to put advertisements on the videos, for any content that is deemed by them “advertisement unfriendly”. The actual rules of such effectively mandating all content has to be of a PG level, but what is not covered by the media is that it prohibits all users to place ads on videos that have reports on topics on news and controversial topics.
In effect, the website implemented similar policies related to Broadcast Televisions Standards and Practices on ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC in a time where most young people and people who don’t have cable turn to the internet for the news. The prohibition on placing ads on news and controversial topics is targeted towards news sites that are outside the large established media companies. While this applied to many content creators who focus on news and politics, this does not apply to the Big media companies of of ABC, CBS, and CNN, which still broadcast advertisements with their news reports.
Independent media sites that use YouTube are cut off from ad revenue and forced to use alternative funding sources such as Pateron.
Then came the Charlottesville tragedy. After the incident, they use it as an excuse to terminate accounts without reason for merely having video that espouse a certain political viewpoint, even those these videos are legal under YouTube’s Terms of Service under extremism and hate. After the usual media outrage, those accounts are restored.
Now they’re experimenting on a limited state setting that removes everything except the video itself: No links to the producer of the video, no stats, no information on how many views or likes, no related videos. Just the video itself, the name of the person who upload it, and the title of the video. There are a few cases of this happening, but it will spread to other videos that are not as controversial or actually racist as that one.
Eventually, they will step up their acceleration of their narrative control by using this same limited state setting on all videos that are not advert-friendly. At some point these videos and the channels that have them will be removed permanently even though the videos are TOS-legal.
In effect in order to control the narrative, YouTube corporate has declared a media war against its own users. And have already taken a page from China’s media censorship protocols. Only except with cheap labor, they use automatic bots that they know that they can’t determine context.
At the same time they’re pushing YouTube TV as an eventual replacement for YouTube as their end game. To replace diversity of opinion with mainstream neoliberal idenity politics to prevent another anti-establishment politician or person gaining prominence.
The worst part of the media war is that YouTube has problems that has festered for months, such as videos showing cartoon characters like Elisa and Spiderman doing fetish acts on their YouTube Kids app and blatant copyright infringement of whole tv series rebroadcast-ed by regular users. While these are serious issues, they’re for a different article and really it’s better suited for people who already reported on it.
The only solution at this point is simple: ”If you are too big to fail, you are too big to censor”. Congress can easily solve this by implementing Content Neutrality on all major websites that have a certain amount of user views or user size that would prohibit. YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter from removing any content for purely political reasons unless it violates US Federal law. They can put it under a sign-in wall, but they can’t remove any content unless it’s illegal. Such laws should also include that content can not be censored or removed as long as it’s under the Terms of Service and any terms of service changes can not be amended to completely prohibit content that would be legal under US federal law.
Sadly the media war against Trump will not end and will last until he steps out of office in the next four to eight years. As the entertainer Alex Jones from InfoWars would say: There’s a war on for your mind!

I have been supporting my unemployed parents as the sole breadwinner, with no government assistance for the past two years. I’ve been unable to pay off my student loan or credit card debt, or spend any money to improve my career or economic position. Now I have found out recently that my mom has a back problem and has osteoporosis which limits her employment options. If her conditions get worse, I will be forced into being a caretaker, which in my financial condition which will end any dreams or goals I want to fulfill. Taking care of my unemployed parents for the past two years has taken a toll on my financial and mental health, as well as my possible future.
Sadly, it’s much easier for a upper-middle class SJW or trustafarian to have their fundrasier fulfilled for their vanity projects to spend on themselves to trips to Europe while spending little on the project themselves. Any money that is sent will make my life and my family better and will allow me to focus on my political writings and my career instead of stressing over money or struggling to live without any government assistance.
Thank you for your consideration.
