Back in January, I set a goal of launching a YouTube channel. After 8 months of procrastination, I’m pleased to say that today I did it!

I had been putting this off for so long using excuses like I don’t have the right equipment, I don’t know what editing software to use, I don’t have a good setting for the video etc. But, in all honesty, I was nervous about putting myself out there on video.

Throughout my career as a Recruiter, I have hired hundreds of people and interviewed thousands more. The aim of my channel is to use all this experience to provide hiring tips, career advice and interview guides. Enjoy!

In November 2018 I hopped on a plane to Berlin to present at Tech Rec 2018; a conference “dedicated to tackling challenges in finding and hiring tech talent”. This was the first time speaking at a conference abroad and I was so freaking excited! My talk wasn’t filmed so instead…

I’m incredibly excited to announce that I will be flying over to Berlin to speak at Tech Rec 2018 on Friday November 23rd (but I will be there for the full 2 days on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd).

It is the first platform in Europe that brings together thought leaders and experts in tech recruiting, talent acquisition, employer branding, sourcing and talent analytics from enterprises, start-ups, tech companies and many more”.

Earlier this week (11th September 2018) marked one year at Electronic Arts and what an incredible year it has been. Joining EA, and the video games industry, has far exceeded my expectations and I’m so glad I put the time and effort into chasing my dream job (I wrote about…

It was incredibly fun working with the folks at LinkedIn on a post for the Talent Blog: “I Love It When Candidates Do These 8 Things”.
